About Me
I have been in private counselling practice for seven years , and have experience of working as a counsellor in a GP practice , as a student counsellor at a local University , as a children and young persons counsellor for Relate and as a volunteer Counsellor for a Christian Counselling Service.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy , and abide by their ethical guidelines for Counselling and Psychotherapy .
I have extensive experience of working in the mental health system and with adults with learning disability, and recently worked as a Mental Health Advocate .
My Qualifications and training :
Diploma in Person Centred Rogerian Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Certificate in Person Centred Couple Counselling
RSA Certificate in Counselling Skills.
In Service Training in Social Care.
All Issues Core Training in Family Mediation
As well as numerous training courses attended over the past seven years.
